Brigand Arms has been acquired by DB Technologies LLC for an undisclosed amount. Jeremy Wootten, CEO of DB Technologies, sees the Brigand Arms technology acquisition as a way to accelerate the growth of their advanced textiles business:
“We see an opportunity to build on the intellectual property developed at Brigand Arms, leveraging our experience with manufacturing composite materials for aerospace and military, to create new products and reach new markets.”
DB Technologies will continue doing business as Brigand Arms to serve new and existing markets established by the company. Dr. Austin Gurley, former owner of Brigand Arms, is hopeful that this acquisition makes their technology more accessible to new users:
